Big fan of Dance Moms-watched about 4 hours of it today with my daughter
I like Abby Lee-she is brutal with the kids and moms, but gets results-cant argue with that

Another I've started is "Counterpart", basic concept is about parallel worlds, with an assassin crossing over. 3 episodes in and looks good, but dont watch pissed or tired as you really have to concentrate.

Why does this not surprise me .

Just getting into Condor, typical spy based thriller, but 3 episodes in & still holding interest.
Final of S2 of Westworld tonight, if anyone can explain it to me like I'm a 6 year old, that would be appreciated, great show but f*** me it's more complicated than a Rubik's cube to a blind man

Future man and Banshee, both great shows. The people who made Banshee are behind Warrior - The new Bruce Lee inspired show set in San Fran. Okay, but not nearly good as Banshee.

Check out Chernobyl ----- Holy S**t! It is hard to believe it is based on real happenings. Great British cast too.

Finished Chernobyl last night, good stuff.

Finished season 2 of The Deuce recently too. It's about the sex trade in New York in the 70's and the rise of the porn industry. Created by the same guy as The Wire and Treme and has the same sense of authenticity as those shows.

Chernobyl was unreal. The podcast with the creator of the show is a good listen too.

If you liked the main actor in Chernobyl (Jared Harris) , he also starred in the Terror. Also filled with a great British cast. A wonderfully grim and gritty yarn, despite a mythological aspect.

**SPOILER ALERT BELOW**

I found it interesting that his character hung himself twice, once in Chernobyl and once in Madmen.

Some recent shows (Netflix)
Santa Clarita Diet - Drew Barrymore & Timothy Olyphant. If you can put up with the gore funny as fk
The Good Place - Mild humour, not side splitting but watchable has Ted Danson
After Life - Ricky Gervais bit dark this one, very dry humour
The End Of The F***ing World - Not bad, about a couple of disassociated teens
Sex Education - Another teen based show about awkward kids. Again not every bodies cup of tea, but at least something other than the Marvel repeat themes

Watched Chernobyl over the weekend and thought it was awesome, very compelling. Also watched the new 3 episode mini-season of Black Mirror, the first ep is a bit of a mind f***.

I enjoyed Castle Rock recently, it's a horror show set in the universe of Stephen King's books. Season 2 is starting soon so good time to jump in if you like horror stuff.

True Detective season 3 was great also, a real return to form if you (like me) didn't like Season 2.

Watching Killing Eve at the moment.

Spy thriller with some flippant British humour on top, I like it a lot.
