I'll check them out.

Mayhem at Soundwave yesterday were mindblowing.

Faith No More were great as always.

FNM - Superhero

Was unsure, and maybe still am about 'Mother****er' but can see how it would work as an opening to their set. I'm looking forward to the new album.

Yeah, I don't really like Mother****er, Superhero last night was good though. Early impressions from some journalists are out and they've all said it's great.

I like Mr Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage and Fantomas more than Faith No More a lot of the time to be honest, still looking forward to the new album though.

I'm loving seeing many of my favourite 80's bands live. Recently I've seen The Cockroaches, Bon Jovi, Mental As Anything and the Foo Fighters. This weekend I'll see Boom Crash Opera, Darryl Braithwaite, Diesel, Mondo Rock, James Rayne & Hoodoo Gurus. Next week Pseudo Echo.

I'd throw in taking my 11 y.o. daughter to see One Direction but I might get picked on.

Caught them Friday and Sunday in Brisbane, they always put on a great show.

The pit was mental, so much fun.

Bass Drum of Death were good too.

Saw Child, Frown and Hobo Magic tonight.

Frown and Child were both excellent.

Frown need to get someone good in to produce their next album, their recorded music doesn't accurately represent how good they are now.

Opinions on Child? Have you listened to album also?

I went an saw Drifter, Holy Serpent and Dr. Colossus.

Drifter have a cool, stoner punk thing sort of reminiscent of Oliveri's stuff. Really mean sound.

I listened to a few tracks, I enjoyed them more live than recorded.

I can't say enough good things about Frown live.

Found a couple more....Manfred Mann ...Blinded by the light, ELO...Don't bring me down.
Would love to know what the younger generation thinks of songs like those.

A lot of the younger generation love the classics.

Collecting records is popular again.
