The betting for Sundays game has been interesting. In an article in one of the papers it had TAB Qld posting our boys at $2.20 & Centrebet saying that was overs they'd post it more like Bris $1.85 v NQ $1.95 or something similar.

Well, on TAB Qld the odds are now Bris $1.55 v NQ $2.30, Centrebet opened at Bris $1.62 v NQ $2.30 & SIAbet Bris $1.65 v NQ $2.25.

Centrebet now has Bris $1.65 v NQ $2.25 & IASbet hasn't changed.

Has anyone else taken the $2.30 yet? I have!!!!!! :bounce: :thumbright: :salute:

This is interesting - Centrebet are taking bets on who will be the Dally M Coach of the year. Currently paying $10 for Graham Murray doesn't seem that bad :).

6.50 BROWN, Nathan (Dragons)
6.50 SMITH, Brian (Eels)
8.00 STUART, Ricky (Roosters)
9.00 HAGAN, Michael (Knights)
10.00 FOLKES, Steve (Bulldogs)
10.00 MURRAY, Graham (Cowboys)
11.00 BENNETT, Wayne (Broncos)
11.00 HASLER, Des (Sea Eagles)
13.00 BELLAMY, Craig (Storm)
15.00 SHEENS, Tim (Tigers)
21.00 CLEARY, Ivan (Warriors)
23.00 LANG, John (Panthers)
23.00 RAPER, Stuart (Sharks)
26.00 McRAE, Shaun (Rabbitohs)
34.00 ELLIOTT, Matthew (Raiders)

IASbet now has it at Bris $1.67 v NQ $2.20 & the others haven't changed. I think our boys will shorten further before kick off tho.

Funny how we at slightly bigger odds on Friday . $2.40. and the Broncos at $1.56.

They must know something I don't. Have our boys been got at and the smart money piled on to the Donkeys. The Bookies are not known for giving money away.

$2.40 sounds like crazy overs, but I'd much rather be underdogs heading into a game against Brisbane. We never seem to win as favorites against the donkeys, especially at Suncorp

Yeah Suncorp has been a tough ground for us recently even considering the closeness of the sides.

I hope our pack get on top early, they have some really mobile young forwards that could cause us problems even with the deficit in size. Important to keep our defensive shape around the ruck.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but would a win here be just our second ever over these c***s without JT?

You're right! Not since 10-0 in 2004! It's been 15 years since we beat the Broncos without JT!

Maybe $2.40 is about right.

Had to look that 2006 game up. We won 36-4. A repeat of that would probably spoil the rivalry of the last few years but would be sweet

it’s a bit of a weird stat though mate, i think he only ever missed 1 derby game in the 14 seasons he played for us? (2017). Hard to win without him when he’s pretty much always there.
