We only showed signs of life once Souths took the foot off the pedal and had a lead in both the first and second half.
Yeah, attacking structure is much better, we created a lot of opportunities. Execution was lacking though.
That first half reminded me of the first half of the Broncos game at Suncorp last season. Our big guys getting shredded by Cook-Nikorima types. Our forwards are all too heavy across the board really. Dream eluded to it in another post. I think we'd be a whole lot better if we changed things up and had a more mobile forward pack rather than trying to replicate our 2015 style which is now a largely redundant game plan.

I think if your completion rate is high and your halves are able to set up lots of repeat sets then the big forward pack can be sustainable. But if the opposition gets a role on and lots of ball then you really get found out. I think if we do the little things right and actually rotate our forwards better (i.e. not 3 long stints for Scott) then we can still go ok.Even at our best we've always struggled with those type of players. When the number of interchanges was reduced to 8 it highlighted it even more plus we no longer had the added benefit of being able to run over teams in the last quarter.
Unless you're the king of wrestle (ie Melbourne) it just doesnt pay to have a massive forward pack these days
