Curtain raiser to the NRL game is the Blackhawks-Cutters U20 game. A lot of contracted U20s players involved.

Be interesting to see Greens response with regards to his team selection. Wouldn’t mind see Dunn start in the back row and Baptise come onto the bench or into the starting side.

Can see Canberra’s left hand edge of Bateman, Leilua and Rapana giving us all kinds of problems. Bateman in particular is a big threat close to the line. Conversely the key to our attack is going down their right edge IMO. Croker one of the worst defenders in the comp as far as centres go, and is a serial offender for not trusting his winger and rushing off his goal line.

Despite our shitful performance on the weekend, I’m quietly confident of getting the spoils against these mugs. Hoping a better crowd turns up, though can see us pulling below 10K.

I don't actually expect any changes, I would think we will give last week's team another chance to redeem themselves. If we do see changes I would like to see Tuala at centre and either Hampton or Baptiste on the bench.

Just in case Green is reading this and needs more tips, here's my team

1. Te Maire Martin
2. Nene Macdonald
3. Jordan Kahu
4. Enari Tuala
5. Javid Bowen
6. Jake Clifford
7. Michael Morgan
8. Josh McGuire
9. Jake Granville
10. Jordan McLean
11. Gavin Cooper
12. Mitch Dunn
13. John Asiata

14. Kurt Baptiste
15. Matt Scott
16. Corey Jensen
17. Peter Hola

Only reason Granville is still there is because Baptiste is likely to be underdone. It's time for Hess to go, nothing has changed for him since last year. I don't rate Molo high enough to be ahead of a young gun like Hola. If we're not going to sign Holmes this year, it might be time to promote Gilbert to the 30 man squad.

If Feldt is back I'd drop Kahu and re-shuffle the backline to suit. Bowen has been great this year and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

I think Valentine is strutting his stuff now, we will have an idea if he is a chance of making it in the NFL over the next few days.

The worrying thing is we all know how "good" Hayne was after that little self indulgent sojourn

He was there for over a year though and then went and stuffed around a bit for Fiji rugby. Hopefully, Val hasn't been away too long for his nrl ability to degrade.

The next few days? I think we know he's not a chance already. The only one still labouring under the misapprehension that he is a chance, is Valentine.

Give it up, you plank! You can't make up 18 years at 23 years of age. You especially can't do those 18 years retrospectively, from age 5, sucking in all that game-knowledge, preparing the body for this specific and highly specialised game. And even if you could, you would still only be one of a million hopefuls, with just as much experience and grooming as you. Except in a million, there'll always be someone just as good as you, but 3" taller.

Pretty much a must win game for us even this early on. We drop this and we're basically resigned to a 1 and 4 start to the season.

That will only enhance the value of the 'PEAKING THEORY' We know that Green pops in now and then when he thinks we are " Notfaroff" . I'll be expecting a call any time soon.

Hopefully a late change with Tuala coming in for Hampton.
And Wright to backrow, Hess to bench and Molo dropping out. Would also be ok with Scott transitioning to a bench role.

When is Bolton's suspension over? He shouldn't be near the side if in 2018 form but adds depth if finds earlier form. Would be getting on though.

So if they dont perform this week is that more changes next week? I think Green has lost the plot personally. We have recruited players then we arent either giving them a chance to get to know our team or we are playing them in other positions than they were recruited for.

Come on guys he wasn't going to reshuffle the team again.

Give this team more than one game.
Considering that it wasn't the team that was the problem last weekend but their attitude.
