Media article today saying that Melbourne needs to clear salary cap space quickly, otherwise it will be cleared for them. Which Melbourne back do we want?

Jahrome Hughes......

For all the wraps he gets, why can't this guy nail down a permanent spot? Would've thought he'd be a shoe in this year with Slater gone. If he was good enough you'd think Bellyache would slot him in somewhere.

It'd be better to have the cap space free for Val and not need it, than to need the cap space free for Val and not have it.

“The Dragons are on the verge of losing one of the most talented players to have ever come through the club.
Last year's NSW Origin Under-20's Player of the Year, Reece Robson, is set to quit Saints to link with either the Bulldogs or North Queensland.
The Junior Kangaroo is being offered $350,000 a season by the two rival clubs.
Dragons coach Paul McGregor is the biggest fan of first-choice hooker Cam McInnes, which is why Robson knows his pathway to the NRL is jammed.”

Just a rumour at this stage, but has anybody heard anything more to it, or even seen him play? Seems a talent, and signing could spell the end to jake the rake..

Gun junior coming through the ranks. Played for Aus Schoolboys, Junior Kangaroos twice and NSW U20 twice. Originally from the Tweed Coast (played juniors for Murwillumbah and Bilambil) before moving to Sydney to join the Dragons. Turns 21 this year. Was named in the NSW Cup Team of the Year last year and was the Dragons ISP Player of the Year.

Great passer and pretty quick out of dummy half. Good defender and was basically an 80 minute hooker in NSW Cup. Hasn't really show much of a kicking game. Dragons fans rate him highly.

Not sure how legit Sporting News is (is it The Lurker?) but definitely wouldn't be a bad pick up. I prefer this rumour over the Sione Katoa one.

When Vossy saw this Mt Isa kid play for Kirwin last year he called him an "outstanding front row prospect" and said we should "remember his name".

Sounds like the Roosters listened.

He was great for Kirwan in the games I saw. He signed for the Roosters in June last year.

Both are good, not sure where we'd fit them though with Hola, Gilbert and Dunn coming through.

I'd like Rhyse Martin. If coops calls it quits at the end of the season he'd be a good signing

Pretty sure he's only 18-19. Guessing he'll join one of the Colts U20s sides. From what I've found, he's a goal kicking second rower.
