The headline in the Bully says "Lowe dumped by the cowboys" they also had a smart assed headline about Scott being dumped as Captain.
Very disrespectful to both the club and Player on both articles. Whoever wrote these headlines is an assclown and needs to get facts right before they write and print such dribble.

I just checked the Bully site and they have changed the headline to "Ëthan Lowe Gets Released by Cowboys"

Best of luck to Lowey. He did look good in the trial but it was clear he and Green weren't on the same page. Was going to be an uphill slog for him to get any game time up here this year

Best of luck to Lowey. His goal kicking in the 2017 finals series will be one of my favorite memories of him in Cows colours.

you’ll find they were probably Courier mail articles and not written by the Bully. The News syndicated websites use each other’s stories. Pretty sure the one of Matt Scott was written by Peter Badel

Great memories of Lowe hoisting the trophy to fans at our end of the ground after the premiership win.

All the best Ethan 'The Great Dividing' Lowe.

Cowboys keep one eye on Holmes

The departure of Ethan Lowe from North Queensland to South Sydney this week could be a significant moment in the course of the season. The Cowboys had all their spots filled for 2019 when they upgraded Peter Hola last week, however Lowe’s departure opens one spot on their roster.

The conspiracy theorists will say that is for Valentine Holmes. It may well be and the Cowboys could find out as early as next month after Holmes takes part in an NFL combine in front of 32 prospective franchises. Regardless, Lowe is the kind of player who could thrive under Wayne Bennett. He took a six-figure pay cut to join the Rabbitohs on a one-year deal.

What about young Corey Allan?

I have a suspicion that Parry is scheming away to make this happen. It is all part of our cunning plan to get a great fulback.
I don't know why Souths would let him go, he'll probably be their long term fullback who they only just signed this year. I'd happily have him at the club but it makes no sense for Souths to release one of their brightest prospects for a fringe back rower.

If the club wanted Corey Allan so badly they had a lot of time to pick him up and didn't. He's basically been available to sign since November 2017 and I don't think we were ever linked to him. It would be cool to get him but I don't know why Souths would release him. He's signed for three years and will probably be playing Round 1 for them.

We have one Top 30 space to fill before June. The club is probably still holding out for Val.

I would love that to happen.

As for fullbacks, one for your little black book is that kid from Cairns Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.
He has moved down to Townsville and is going to Kirwan SHS (actually, I can't believe he is still in school, buy he is, he's 18).
He's been mentioned on here before - absolute freak, playing fullback.
On the weekend, in the Blackhawks v Pride A-Grade trial he scored a scorching 60m 'Matty Bowenesque' try, this was after he scored 3 in the U/18s game earlier in the day.
Google him and see his tries, has a passing game as well.

I've watched the highlights Rudi. I like him.

There's no way the Sharks could afford Val this year if he were to decide to abort his NFL dream and come back to the NRL.
