No competent person would sign someone before that game surely.

Apparently we were waiting to see how he pulled up - no injury the announcement was going to be after the game/next morning.

We must be holding off now. Based on that game I'm glad we went cold on AJ.

Glad to hear that.

The guys next to Corey Jensen are Nene and Clifford. The extra player is probably Peter Hola. U20s player who has done the whole pre-season with the NRL squad.

Granville was wearing '7'.

The mystery has been solved. Granville and Clifford are in the halves. Morgan goes to fullback.

It's just smoke and mirrors ahead of Jakey's long-awaited debut on the wing

He’ll form a lethal combination at the back with the returning James Tamou in the #1

I had a look at some 2016 highlights on youtube.

He was nearly always finishing short-range tries. I would like to see footage of him stretching out on a long range break or try. Also most of the footage was of him on the wing with a bit at centre. Hard to know how good he is a fullback. There are lots more attacking opportunities at fullback.

He has played bugger all fullback although that is supposedly his natural position. He's not a bad player but I hope he plays more centre than FB this year, he has a solid body of work at centre over his career.

So who do you think should play fullback?

Out of the three mentioned, Hampton is the one with the most spark and energy about him.

What about this Murray Taulagi? I watched some highlights on him. He seems to have a lot more than a running wingers game. Passing. Kicking. Hitting a gap. I trust we won't make the same mistake as we did with you know who. Need to give these young guys a go.

Even Wiltshire sounds handy. Wing, centre. Why not fullback. No-one even talked about Morgan at fullback before he actually played there.

EDIT: Nene MacDonald lists Matty Bowen and Greg Inglis as his favourite players. If this is the case, he might have his eyes on the fullback spot. Wouldn't blame him.
