This will be a tough game. Titans have a solid forward pack. Taylor's kicking game is legit.

That loss against Manly was what I needed for next Saturday's' game against the Titans. But their is good news and their is bad news about that game.

The good news is that I finally get to see the Cowboys on the Gold Coast after an absence of three or four years.

The bad news is that my family and I will be sitting with the Legion. I will not be allowed to have any Cowboy gear on because in the past some Dick head opposition supporters have come into the area and created some strife. But fear not. I have a little surprise instore. A lot of the Legion people are good friends and we travel to Townsville with them.

So, that defeat, has taken a bit of the smugness off my face, and I will now be able to be there with an ounce of token humility. But, gee, I am still hurting on the inside.

Wow thats pretty weak by the Titans....instead of banning knobs for a good period of time (or even life if warranted), lets instead ban everyone, even though 99% of people know how to act right. Knobs tend to be so regardless of what kit they may be wearing, so whats to stop them simply rocking up in civilian gear just to be knobs all over again.

Looks like the Terrys are winning the war on the GC.

You have to remember that the Legion Area is not like the ' Away supporters Area " They have a small area at Robina for the dedicated Titans Legion Supporters. These guys are quite passionate, but well behaved. In that environment, it is easy for someone fuelled by the Demon Drink to create some issues.

So, if their is a disturbance there and you see someone being escorted out of the area by members of Dutton's Terrorist Squad, think of your O'l mate Peaking Pete.

Thinking about going down for this one. It was a definite on Friday but after Saturday I don't know if dropping a few hundred (and probably a few hundred more if we hit up Jupiter's) is a good idea.

I've only seen us play once on the GC and we copped a hiding

Yeah still, one of the best game day experiences is the banter between opposition fans. I consider myself a connoisseur of bantz, and any true, honourable perveyor of bantz knows its just as important (sometimes even more important) to take bantz as good as you get. If someone cant handle a swift bantz roundhouse to the feels, and gets threatening/violent, they should be removed from public regardless of where they sit, what they wear, or what they have chosen to put inside their bodies and at what quantity.

Any true master of bantz-fu understands the importance of graciousness in defeat...I happily (kind of) stood there Sat night while Manly fans took bantz-photo's next to the car acting all superior and stuff, as long as they are respectful of the equipment, I dont mind....I just deposit it all away into the bantz bank, so I may one day make a large bantz withdrawl when the thing inevitably swings back around.

I think anyone who chooses to sit in an opposition supporters area (whether home or away) should understand the unwritten bantz contract being agreed to via that action, and should conduct themselves as any ambassador of bantz would be expected to in such a situation. Nothing sh*ts me more than when people bring the bantz game into disrepute, resulting in ridiculous blankets bans.....its an attack on all bantz-kind, and that just cannot stand.

Good chance to consolidate our away record with a win here...the win at Suncorp was a bonus, somewhat undone by the loss to Manly. But after last year the dreaded away record kept popping up again so would be great to start the season 2-0 in the away column.

For what it's worth, I'd like to see Big Bertha on my television.

Where are you sitting Beaves? I'll be in the south west corner, right in front of the broadcast box.

Reminder that the U20 this week are playing at Ned Byrne Field in Kingscliff. The curtain raiser at Cbus is the Tweed Heads-Capras Qld Cup game.
