Hamiso hasn’t been picked in the trial team this weekend; Murray in 2 and Lemulemu at 5. Interestingly though, Daejern Asi has been upgraded to a development contract and is in the squad, but Hamiso isn’t. Hard to gauge their thinking on this one.

And probably slotted Kyle Feldt somewhere. Maybe second row. Maybe even wing!

Apparently he’s been offered to the Wolfpack now too. They’ll certainly give him the money they’re after but what a bad career move that would be.

To be fair, he was an international upon being signed, and we have since lost our forward pack leader in Scott. And regardless, we couldn’t have not spent the cap space, you can’t just bank up $2m “just in case” in a year’s time. They would’ve had to spend it on someone this year, McGuire or...

After one of my mates made the same assertion last night, I went back through every Sharks game in 2018. They used 4 fullbacks throughout the year (Dugan, Moylan, Lee and Holmes). I may have counted wrong but throughout the season + finals I counted 19 games at fullback for 14 tries, and 9 tries...

I’m pretty sure either QLD or Australia used to do it with Smith and JT at one point but you’re right, no club side has done it consistently

IF he got to the kick. He got caught running and tackled on the 4th so often last season. I love his running game but if there’s no halfback coming up with a good 5th tackle option, he absolutely did not pick the right time to run very often throughout this year.

This is pure speculation as I’ve never seen him in real life, nor do I watch a lot of (if any) Tigers games, but I believe I saw Chris Lawrence getting off a flight from Townsville in to Melbourne last night. I know the Tigers haven’t re-signed him so it wouldn’t be impossible for it to have...

Surely he’ll move back to Sydney. There’s at least more upside to Bird than there is Chambers I think. Doesn’t mean we won’t pick up any Bronco rejects though.

I have a really bad feeling we are going to end up spending $700k of that $900k war chest on Chambers

If Ramien left Newcastle because he wasn’t getting enough ball, he isn’t going to get any more ball at the Tigers if that’s the reason Marsters wants out.

If the club has an option in their favour for ‘22 they should just let his contract run out. $2.25m vs $6m for one extra year, just doesn’t make any sense from a financial standpoint. No one is bigger than a club.

No dice, I suspected Morgo would go back to fullback since we now have zero other options.

I think it’s more a reflection of the lack of backup options, ie. Hampton or TMM playing there to fill a gap as opposed to someone who is a specialist in that position. We were best served at Hooker when we had Payne and Segyarobom rotation.

Gavin Cooper rolled off all the names who won’t be there next year, confirming Fensom and Coote as definitely gone.
