Away teams warm up

Hey, does anyone know why the Eagles were allowed to warm up on our own DFS before the game last week?
Was there something wrong with the Brothers ground next door?
Surely the Cowboys aren't going to let all away teams to use our surface!!
There's no way the Sydney teams would let us use their surface, especially the old silvertails......

I don't like it either but if its permitted by the league, why not? It allows the visiting team to soak up the atmosphere and settle in prior to the kick off. Particularly useful in front of very parochial crowds. Yeah other grounds can allow it but if we have a choice, please not at DFS. Same goes for selling the oppositions' merchandise - can't stand it. A home ground should mean something more than its address.

Remember the finals last year when the Cowboys had to train out on an old bumpy Rugby Union field as they were refused access to Telstra Stadium.

The Storm warmed up at Brothers this week. Presume Hasler wanted his youngish team to soak up the atmosphere before last weeks game and made a special request. No biggy, we won both!!
