2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics

I figured I'd start this thread for those who wish to discuss the Winter Games. I figured I'd be cricified for starting a Super 14 thread.


Following an awesome opening ceremony, the game have had a terrible start with the death of Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili.

In case anyone hadn't noticed, I absolutely LOVE the Winter Olympics. Every event, except figure skating, curling, nordics and bobsleigh are just awesome.

The Aussies are right into it from the start, with young Britteny Cox in for the heats for the moguls. For a 15 year old, it's not too shabby!

I was watching the luge to day, and the commentator there sounds like Andrew Voss. Looking on the Foxtel website, he is not mentioned in there Broadcast team. I hope Vossie has not left Nine !

Vossy is over there commentating for 9. I would say Fox are getting their telecast/some of their telecast from channel 9.

Ya that will be it DH! Cheers. IMO hate to lose Vossie, well on the other hand as long as he calls the NRL I would't mind him at Fox.
