Each time I log on to the forum all I get is a blank screen - I then to go back to the main "Stampede" site and click on forums and "poof" I am

Australia are struggling against South Africa in the first test. To me the Aussie batters just thought it would happen and didnt really put their heads down and concentrate. Too many of them got starts and then got out. Not good enough. I didnt think, apart from Ntini, any of the SA bowlers were that impressive.

Well I didn't (thanks for the vote of confidence LOL), but do now.

User reputations are added by other forummers. They need to click the scales icon on the particular post and select either approve (positve points alloacted) or dissaprove (negative points - ie taken away).

You "Rep Power" will then display some witty little quip (currently just the standard tripe) as to your reputation. If folks use it I'll rustle up some more appropriate Rep tags.

i was at tafe on monday and i was working in the bamboo bushes and i kept losing my balance and kept falling in the bushes.i couldnt get up both cause i was laughing and balance was bad due to hidden sticks in the ivy.

just get the properties of the image, and then ....... around it

You have to work harder to impress people more Rob.

If you like or dislike someone's post, you can click on the scales and say what you thought. The more positives, the more your rep power goes up.

From memory, you have to get up to something like 300 before you become a legend in your own mind.

I just bloody well worked out how to get a picture as my avatar and now it is gone. I go to Edit Avatar under User CP and I can't seem to do anything. There is a circle which is already ticked, I can't untick it, and it says something about not using an avatar.

There should be a box that says 'use custom avatar', just tick that then either provide the URL to an image or upload one from your computer.

If you have trouble doing that just link me to the image you want and I can change it manually.

It's not there because we are using different software now that doesn't have that feature. The old software was inferior (apart from the turn off sidebar feature obviously).

I have some ideas on how to fix it, I'll see what I can come up with.

I actually agree with you, I don't like the sidebar.

The site is currently undergoing some changes (nothing is final) and the only reason I brought it back was so there was a way to access the Chat Room.

I'm going to disable it again and put a link to the chat room somewhere else for now.

I just set up some spoiler tags to use when required (e.g. posting the result of the channel 9 game before it has been shown on TV).

Sure, just go to http://keepvid.com/ and paste the youtube link up the top and hit download...Then you can choose what file type you want it in...flv is a flash video, and the mp4 option you can play in quicktime.

Currently when you look at a thread you get the option of clicking on the first few pages or the last page. eg 1,2,3,.......15

I think it would be more convenient to have the option of looking at the last few pages.... so the page numbers at the thread title would look like: 1....13,14,15.
