Lui named in team of year

NORTH Queensland may have been snubbed in the
Toyota Cup team of the year but one local talent has made his way on to the list for 2009.
Not one of the Cowboys made the 17-man line-up but Townsville product Robert Lui of West Tigers was named five-eighth of the year.
The list was comprised mostly of players from New South Wales with no Broncos or Titans making the cut either.
The Cowboys under-20s finals hopes were all but extinguished on Monday night by a rampaging Canberra outfit who buried the Knights 42-26.
The eighth-placed Raiders now sit two points clear of North Queensland and have opened up an 80-point difference in for-and-against.
The Cowboys play the Roosters on Sunday while Canberra take on the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium
