Anyone score tickets to see AC/DC next year? I couldn't believe how fast they sold out across Australia. I managed to get tickets to the Saturday night concert in Brisbane.

How does everyone rate the Black Ice album anyway?
IMO best one since Brian Johnson took over as singer.

IMO best one since Brian Johnson took over as singer.yeah it's not too bad, I wouldn't rate it higher than Back in Black or For Those About to Rock though. The more I listen to black ice the more I like it though, and hopefully after the concert I like it even more

No where near their best which IMO is Back In Black. Black Ice isn't a bad album & does grow on you but they are starting to sound a little tired compared to previous works.

Haha most ac/dc fans like Back in Black the most, can see why, its a great album but I personally love Black Ice better plus The Razors Edge.
But overall nothing beats Bon Scotts Powerage album or Highway to Hell :D well IMO anyway, its hard even to choose between Bons because all the music with him was brilliant. Good to see some ac/dc fans in this forum though, rock n roll lives on :D

Cheers Paddy, and by the way where were you in 79 while I was rockin and rootin to Australia's best rockers......yeah my girls name was Tammy...man she was my childhood sweetheart ....still think about her eh......after all these years....:crying:....we were one for 3 years and her folks fn moved when school ended and I've not seen her since.....hell I fought hard for her many times, her damn parents just couldn't see the love, all they saw was a rebel without a cause....I came close to belting her old man too but held back to try to prove my integrity what a flamin waste of time...I should have just busted the prick and taken my girl away.......life hasn't ended yet but the chances are all but gone.....Yeah I still love the girl but I reckon it just wasn't meant to be...

Honestly haven't heard Black Ice but will check it out, Razors was good but the memories attached to Back in Black can never be erased..........

Unfortunately I was born in 86 well after the Bon years, had to listen to his stuff to truly appreciate the band. Been listening to ac/dc since I was little lol. Kinda wish though I had been born at least before 1980 when he died.

Yeah, i got a floor ticket for the 3rd Sydney show, right hand side. I rate Black Ice, but still prefer Back In Black and Razors Edge. Razors Edge came out when i was 7, and it reminds me of parties at my parents friends house's.
