Not always. They usually only have 3 of the 7 games live on Fox. Both the Ch.Nein games plus 1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday are delayed. Daylight savings for the first couple of rounds can affect that though.


Hmm ... speaking about Fox, there a discrepency with the kickoff time and the 'live' broadcast time in Round 2 - well, I guess thats the broadcast time in NSW :tongue: - I'm just going to add a note about that.

I didn't think anyone was allowed to infringe on Lord Nein's coverage on Fri nights.

Think you are right the deal forbids radio coverage of Friday night games, thats why Scoppo and the guys missed their only ever Cowboys home game, when the played the Bulldogs last year, and subsequent Friday night games.

I remember we played the Crushers on a Friday night years ago though, but that was not a televised game.

From next year the at least one Friday night game will be broadcast on Radio.

In other words the Radio blackout is finished, it was something that the NRL insisted on.

But the reason for the blackout (by Nine), that the game was delayed, is no longer there, because there will be a 7.30 game live, straight after a delayed game.
