Ive always wondered about Bluey the mascot. Why is the mascot a dog and not a cowboy? Seems silly.

This is an outrageous guess but... Maybe we aren't really considered like the traditional american cowboys. Maybe like they are comparing country folk to cowboys, or just people who ride horses, and out in the country they have cattle dogs to get the sheep and a popular name for a blue cattle dog is blue?
haha, but then why did we change our logo to the cowboy star?

I'd like to know that too. I personaly hate the star. I liked the old-school logo with the grey rectange border with white back ground, horns & "COWBOYS" written in blue & white. The logo that was on the 95' strips. The yellow oval wasnt too bad either.

Whats the go with the name "COWBOYS" in red???? Is that another colour the club has addopted? Blue, Grey, White, Yellow & R-E-D. Soon the logo is gona look like a bloody rainbow!

I've been coping them. I reckon its a good thing because they aren't mentioning our past anymore.

NQ Cowboys sounds a bit better than NQ Ringers which is what aussie cowboys are called anyway. I can't put my NQ Cowboys flag up in the bunk window of my truck as the boss says it gives his outfit a bad name, cause there always branding truckies as cowboys. he wasn't real impressed when i told him to pull his head in.
