Hi there Cowboys fans,
Here we go again, another year, another grand final (hopefully) and of course the now famous Cowboys supporters tipping comp.
Prizes will be announced half way through the year, but we have already had pledges of some really great prizes!
Last year we had a supporters pack, signed football from the Cowboys and of course Howdy hats for 3rd place and last place - see even when you lose you win here!
The rules are already up on the Oztips site (see how to register below), but I must warn ye that I have a tendancy to change the rules as I go.
Especially if I see any of the leaders are tipping against the Cowboys firm and devious actions will be taken.
Hey, it's all about fun and bragging rights (oh and really really cool prizes).
Can Hinzey prove 2005 wasn't a fluke and win back to back titles? can NQGurl take her eyes of Joshys buttocks long enough to actually put her tips in? Will Thommo make it through the season without having to ask the Watch House Sergeant what the score is? All this and more will be revealed as the year progresses.

Hi let's go - have come in top 4 last 2 years at my workplace, top 100 for footy show, top 50 for fox sports. Much harder to compete against the country so I hope this one's a bit smaller. How dare anyone tip against the cowboys!! Not true believers like the rest of us .... Bring on round one

Don't blame the dreadful drongos ol' mate, the bloody Sharks have to learn how to hold onto the ball. What a joke! :clown: The Drongos won by only 4 & the Sharks had a woeful completion rate. :pale: Bloody Sharks shoulda won easily if they just held onto the ball.

Perfect round for me...Moved from 52nd to 12th this weekend...makes a big difference when you start trying. All the way to the top for me now
Hey Thommo, saw your message on the Oztips site about Horsey and Hinzey tipping against the boys.
I forgot to mention that the Melb V Cows game is one of those games that you are allowed to tip against the 'Boys.....especially when you are running near last and are desperate for points.
So I stick my hand up and say "guilty too",

depends who they are playing. If i think they will win i pick them.if i think they will lose i don't pick them.just as i do for every other team.no team will go through the seaon undefeated and i couldnt be bothered putting tips in every week if i am going to pick a team i think will lose the game just because I am a supporter of them.i have 2 eyes.

I have only gone against them once, against the sharks, and was gonna take the dogs lask week but decided to toy around with Horsyturd and let him catch up a little............maybe I'll pull the rug out from under him this week.

I'm not overly confident about that Thommo. I've missed out on a perfect round 3 times (I think) this year & our boys have cost me in 2 of those.
Doesn't matter anyway, as long as we win the GF I don't give a rats where i finish in the tipping comp.:beerchug:

I think the prizes should just be awarded by a random draw of final positions rather than 1st, 2nd, etc. That way the nice person coming 21st might have a chance of a prize.

I got the wobbles last year Thommo. I lead for about 5 or 6 weeks and then blew it big time with a few rounds to go. Hopefully I'll time my run better this year.
