I read that the U/20's are on fox this sat. arvo. It will be my first chance to watch them. I rely on the old man to tell me how they go.
Am interested in our halves, Ray Thompson & Brady Payne. A few years ago Payne was the next big thing but hasn't come on as the hype suggested. Then Ray was given big wraps. How are they really going??
The first game I saw of them against Tiggers, they were terrible. Against the Eels they looked quite good. Organised & schemed well. Ryan Carr the hooker is a good player & leader.

I've seen em play the Titans and Brisbane. They were pretty ordinary right across the board against the Titans. They were a lot better against the Broncs.
The Hooker, Fullback, centres, No 12 and No 14 all had good games against the Broncos. Ray Thompson played well too. Hope they don't get stage fright!

I thought they were going to get belted all year but they went well against Parra. Maybe they weren't use to the pace of the games and that it wasn't club footy anymore. Anyways St George will be a big test for them

i'll be lucky to make it home from work in time for the big boys. Bugger, would have liked to seen them, had the privildge of seeing them get hammered by the titans in the flesh
Who is that blonde headed forward in the 20s. Damn he's good.

On the cowboys website they have the u20's profiles. There is a very blonde kiddie in there, a front rower from memory.

They should only get better & bettter as the year progresses. Many of our boys haven't had the same opportunity to come through the strong week in week out grade competitions as they do in NSW. this is a great competition for our promising northern juniors.
