ABC Radio were saying that Symonds could get a lengthy ban for that. They were quoting the rule book that you can't intentionally knock/bump or whatever to a spectator. That shoulder charge was a decent knock. Hopefully sanity will prevail.

true, but surely he has to be allowed to defend himself, that bloke was running straight towards him so he deserves everything he gets. If Roy gets banned for that, I won't watch another game of cricket ever again, and going by the p!ss poor cricket this summer, I can't say I would be that devastated.

i was there last night and bloody ****ed myself laughin when it happened.
huge hit and the crowd went wild when it happened.
maybe an hour after that there was another streaker who got tackled by the cops
pretty hard as well. was the highlight of the night 4 sure
