gonna be a tough ask for Matty Bowen to get selected in the 1 jersey now...........and with Muzz as Blues coach maybe Matty's days at rep level are in big trouble. Muzz knows Matty inside out and will have to expose his weaknesses if the Blues are to win !! Must be hard for Muzz to contemplate too.
Hope I'm wrong, but I don't like the smell of this at all !

If Matty deserves to play Rep football then he should be able to overcome anything thrown at him. He is not the first person and won't be the last person to have his club coach on the opposite team at rep level. If he's good enough he will rise ..if not then maybe there is someone better to do the job. It's a non issue for mine really.

selections were bad enuf with a qld coach at the reigns, have to sit behind hogachello, pattern, mckinnon etc

Didnt put hodgon in there because when it comes ot selection he might actually deserve it so that puts him right out of the equation.

Its a horses ass as far as im concerned, only selections i see as good and fair are city and country.

he wasn't selected when bennet was in charge, and imo he's got no chance of being selected now. stuart will pick mini, that's for sure

I agree. And on last years form Brett Hodgson deserves a chance before Matty Bowen. Hodgson was the form fullback of the comp.

Both correct, as good a player as Matty is, he would have to be at least 3rd in line.
