Not wishing to diss you lads but ive had the pleasure of watching touring Kangeroos in England since the 80's and in that time we've taken some bashings from your lads but its been a buzz seeing genuine world class players in action.
But last night that was by far the worst performance ive EVER seen from a Kangeroo team, had a few beers prior the game so i thought that may have clouded my judgement but i taped the game and watched it the following day and not wishing to take anything away from the Kiwis your boys were cack.Just intrigued to gauge your reaction to your teams display.

It didn't help that the team they played against was perhaps one of their best ever opponents in recent years :thumbright:.
I watched it and believe that from about 20 minutes into the first half the Kangaroos lost their mental focus and started to think/play 'catchup football' - which is when they really started to make errors. For that I'd point the finger more towards the on-field leadership, be it the halves/captain/senior players but the leadership on the field is where I think the problem was (It's all well and good for the Coach to say 'stay focused, don't panic' but that won't help if the on-field leadership is going 'Oh Sh*t!! Now What Do We Do?!?!' :silent:).
The Kiwis on the other hand had no such problem and remained focused for the full game (and probably deserved to get another try or three).
As to my reaction? I'm taking it suspiciously well. The 'Roos were beaten by a better team and I can't find much dissapointment in that (If it was a close game and it was decided by what if's and/or refereeing decisions it might be a different situation ;-)

I think it is good for the game internationally that the Roos lost. We have been on top for that long we take it for granted that they will always win.
It doesnt matter who you are or what you do, you cannot win all the time.
We should give the Kiwis some credit for winning instead of saying how bad the ussies were. You can only beat what is in front of you.

Too true. Wouldn't it be nice if the same could be said for the Cowboys in 4 or 5 years time.

Never know, our wins might evolve again from upset to how bad the other team is playing to finally showed some form? lol
Some ppl jsut cant come around bout us, read through some of the forums, ill quote one i can remember, name of the discussion was 2006 predictions. "Cowboys have had their fun now, time to go back down to the celler where they belong". From a dragons supporter aswell, let me see, i dont remember the last time we choked? lol
