I know it will be hard for a lot of Roosters fans to admit this but Braith Anasta has the potential to be a better player than brad Fittler and i have no doubt he is the solution the the Roosters 5/8 woes.
Anasta is still very young and has worked very hard in training in the last couple of season and is in great form and in my opinion can only get better.
We all know how good fittler is he lifts the players around him and has great vision and reads the game well. But these are all attributes Anasta will develop over time and i think he can do it.
What do you guys think?

To me, what the Roosters are missing most about Fittler is the way Fittler could organise and focus the Roosters (both in attack and defense).
None of the halves the Roosters currently have seem to be able to do a similar job.
Without that ability now (as i see it :blackeye:) I believe Anasta won't be an instant Fittler replacement.
Longer term might be a different kettle of fish :geek:.
Good Question to post - but........................ the answer is clearly NO Fittler was they're golden goose............... Anasta's just a goose on the footy feild - VERY OVER-RATED !![/b]

In terms of talent, maybe Anasta could end up as good as Fittler. But Fittler had an aura about him, and possessed great leadership qualities that made players around him play better- I am still yet to be convinced that Anasta has this quality.

No way. Anasta is a good player in his own right but will never be as good as Freddy. Freddy, on his night was as good as anyone

everytime i see this question on a forum i have to have a little chuckle to myself...
anasta is what we deem a CONTRACT player....
whilst he was good the first half of the year for hte dogs... it seemed when he signed the dotted line his form shot to sh*T... when we needed him most (corey hughes at halfback) he went missing...could not kick a bomb more than five metres.....
he blizted them in his debut.... was re-signed on big money then became a passenger...
contract time again and he is one of the dogs best... but when we needed him, just was not there... yes i know we had injuries and players who were not motivated but what can you do when u have the ****test halfback in hughes and anasta not standing up....??????
will he be brad? maybe if his contract was on the line every week?
as for "ricky being the best coach" god this guy cracks me up.... ricky BUYS GOOD players... if he was the supercoach he is hailed to be then why were they so unsuccessful this year... why couldn't he work wonders for finch?
