I've just had my first chance to watch the pre-game talk for the final since I have gotten home from Sydney. They crossed to the leagues club in tvl & interviewed a woman that got a Cowboys tattoo on her leg. I have the original logo (without star, just the horns with cowboys written underneath, you all know the one) on my arm high up near my sholder. Its 200mm long X95mm high. Ive had mine since last year. Since I was 11 I decided I wanted one for my 21st birthday so thats what I spent my b'day money on. A life long present that just keeps giving!

I was wondering how many others have a Cowboys logo tatoo?

Also who is considering to get one?

My parents would disown me if I ever got a tatoo...Even though I have always wanted a little puddy tat (I love cats) on my shoulder blade

My parents wouldn't like it either. They just don't believe in tats. I would have a dolphen or a horse as they are my fav animals.

Last year I promised myself that when the boys win a GF I'll get inked, have the spot picked out. I'm due for another one so I'll have to think up a design and wait for the Cowboys one next year :thumbright: .

Yeah, my parents wouldn't like it at all...(the tat that is-the fact that it is the cowboys they wouldn't mind) but i would like to get one...i would get it on my arm if i was to get one done...but i will probably never get it done..hehe

oh yeah my folks we not happy eather. But once its on its on. Thats the only one ive got & I'm not getting anymore. I think if your gona get a tat it has to be of something you are passionate about not just a picture you pick off the wall.

Me parents said they would disown me aswell. Same old statement "You will look at it in 20 years and wonder y u did it". Well have to be something tragic happen for me not to still be a cowboy in 20 years time

My shoulders are full already so I am getting it done on my chest and only for a little Fine awhile back it would be in place now !

i got a tribal version of the horns done on my left upper arm, it's about 3/4 finished but when i get another spare couple of hundred it will be completed. because the guy at 2nd skin had to sit down and look at a cowboys logo and free hand his tribal version, it took a couple of hours of drawing, the price went through the roof, it's different but you can still tell it's a cowbees logo.

cool. would second skin be the better of the townsville tattooists? i havent heard alot about the tattoo places here in townsville (as most of my family go to cairns to get theirs done) but second skin is the one i've heard most about. im planning on getting a voucher for my old man for christmas ...

Jeeze sounds like a lot of muckin' around Beave, I just got a print out of the "horns" and second skin made a stencil/temp tatt or whatever out of it and put that on my arm and went from there, now have to get the star on.

Gunna have to compare when we meet again!

Den, i didn't realise you had one?? I had to go down the road to the pub and have a few rums to ease the nerves, needless to say i bled a lot with the thinning of the blood with alcohol and all. Though to be honest, I was only only in the chair 2 hours tops,the main reason mine didn't get completed was because i couldn't stand the pain much longer, when they went around the top of my arm and to the shoulder, the lad doing it was lucky i dind't back hand him hehe, nah, he wa biggger than me!!!

oh, that one doesn't hurt at all dan. i did have a tongue ring at one point, but it annoyed the crap outta me so i took it out. now...that didn't hurt at the time, but i was in some pain for the first week. imagine when you bite your tongue...it feels like that, but worse. it's purple, swollen, and you can't really eat

well, you see, i got it done when i was at boarding school. i wasn't going home for the next month or so, so i did it. i bloody wish i had a 40oz though. i had to put up with the pain. thank god it didn't get infected (unlike some others ive had done)
i took it out after about 6 months or so (prolly a few weeks before my 17th b'day). it was too far forward on my tongue, so it always clacked against my teeth. if it were back a bit further i woulda kept it in
