COWBOYS ANNOUNCE YOUNG GUNS COACH

http://www.cowboys.com.au/uploads/image/220.gifThe North Queensland Toyota Cowboys confirmed today that Matt Parish has been appointed to the position of Queensland Wizard Cup Toyota Young Guns Coach at the club for 2007.
Matt has coached the Cowboys feeder club the Central Comets in this year's Qld Wizard Cup. He played 137 games for Balmain including over 60 first grade games from 1988-93.
Coach of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Graham Murray believes Matt will be good with the younger players. ?Matt has a good knack of bringing on the younger players and teaching them the skills required for NRL Football. He will carry on the good work done by Michael Crawley.? Murray said.
The Cowboys are very appreciative of the Central Comets support in allowing Matt a release from the final year of his contract with them.
Both clubs agree that this appointment adds further strength to their relationship. The Comets have a number of quality applications already as a replacement for Matt and will consider these candidates with the assistance of the Cowboys in the near future.
