just watched the game and firman was really good in the first half.but he proved why he isn't an nrl player by doing nothing but making mistakes in the second half.he cost the young guns by not putting the ball into touch from a penalty.not even worthy of a spot in the guns.he has got to go.

Making mistakes when we have the lead and at the worst possible time? Throwing away games? He came up north bout 3 years too late. otherwise would have fit right in and had the 7 spot each week lol

It's a bit harder to tell when your at the ground rather than watching on TV but I thought he played quite well apart from a couple of kicks going dead and the one into touch from the penalty.

He threw plenty of good passes and looked like he'd set up a 10 or 12 point lead with a cross field bomb, only to have the video ref decide one of our players was offside.

Tybo was quiet apart from his great try at the end. BB played ok and should have scored a 2nd try but he fumbled the ball on the try line.

Dalle Corte had some great hit ups and I thought it was a bit harsh when he got sin binned for a professional foul.

Firman looked pretty good and looked as if he was a threat each time the ball was in his hands, if he can stop making the couple of crucial errors he makes every game he would be a top player. On the otherhand McConnell looked very ordinary. From what I saw most of his passes were hospital balls which resulted in the ball reciever getting smashed easily, his kicks were fairly poor aswell and when firman went off the field our attack looked crap.

It was Firmans first game back from injury as well.

And he's still carrying an injury (i believe he will have surgery when the season is over).

Didnt think Firman was too bad. The problem I believe was that the Guns got to a 16 nil lead early and easily and thought they had the game in the bag and switched off.

Geez Firman has one bad game and suddenly he isn't capable of playing NRL again.

something isnt working for him, obviously, but i truly believe he is still capable of great things. call me naive i dont care. these potentials may not show themselves here in nq but given half the chance where he is in a stable position, injury free and given a more authoritarian role he can still be what everyone expected when he was named best up and comer.

If we find the answer can someone plz tell Brett Seymour as well. The more good QLD halfbacks going around the better.
