The North Queensland Toyota Young Guns defeated a determined Ipswich side at the Burdekin's Rugby Park 42-36 to remain on top of the Queensland Wizard Cup ladder.
The appreciative Burdekin crowd witnessed 14 tries scored, seven a piece with the Young Guns gaining the ascendancy midway through the second half courtesy of three quick tries, two scored by giant prop Robert Tanielu.
