BRETT Seymour, Josh Hannay and Leon Bott will be among the big names lining up for XXXX Country in this year's June 24 City Country blockbuster at Cloncurry.
Beaten soundly the last two years, Country has selected one of its strongest-ever sides, dominated by members of the North Queensland Young Guns and Toowoomba Clydesdales.
Traditional powerhouse Burleigh has just three members in the Country side, with the likes of Ryan Gundry and Shane O'Flanagan overlooked and Adam Hayden injured.
Man-of-the-match in last year's Queensland Wizard Cup grand final, Shane Muspratt has been selected to captain the team under the guidance of Tweed Heads mentor Steve Murphy.
City will announce its team on the evening of Sunday, June 18.
