HAHAHHAHAHA Maybe it's just my sick sense of humour but I find that ****IN HILARIOUS. SUCK SH!T FINCH YOU LITTLE SOOKING GRUBBY WEASEL.
BLUES hero Brett Finch is facing the sack for Origin II in Brisbane on June 14.
Finch is poised to lose his No.7 jersey to Penrith's Craig Gower.
The selectors are privately upset at the prospect of having to drop Finch, given his heroics in Origin I.
And they will want Gower to at least play solidly for Penrith against Manly at CUA Stadium on Sunday.
However, the selectors believe Gower, who returns this weekend after minor knee surgery, has a stronger overall game.
Blues coach Graham Murray said yesterday he would be happy with either Finch or Gower in the No.7.
"I don't think the selectors will take the view that he [Finch] won't be there," Murray said.
"Craig Gower has been picked for Penrith this week so he will come into consideration. He will have to prove his fitness and prove to selectors that he is a better option than Brett Finch.
"If Brett Finch is picked again, I will be happy with that. But I will let the selectors do their job." Gower played a round of golf yesterday and plans to stretch out fully today. He is extremely confident of lining up for Penrith.
"I haven't trained yet so I'll know more [today]," he said yesterday. "The knee was good on the golf course, it was good to test it out."
Powerful NSW centre Mark Gasnier said he was content with the amount of ball he received in Origin I.
"Brett Finch gave me a lot of ball and a lot of early ball. But I don't really care about how much ball I get, as long as we win the match," he said.
Murray expects Queensland to bolster their back row by naming Chris Flannery and Tonie Carroll for Origin II.
"They may move Matt Bowen and lean more towards Karmichael Hunt," he said.
"That's the street corner tip I have heard. But that's not saying that Matt Bowen will be pushed out. Chris Flannery and Tonie Carroll will add more power to them."
