Fanfreakingtastic.....Big CONGRATS to the Guns, very deserving. Shot the tradition of close QLD CUP FINALS to bits! Talk about kicking some Burleigh Butt! All we need now is the COWS to draw inspiration from it for tonights game. :thumbright:

What a great game... Scoreline blew out a bit in the end, but the Bears were in it until the final 10. How about that last try? Brilliant stuff..

Just got home from the game and am drinking beer preparing for our 2nd win of the day.

Was fantastic to see the Guns so excited at winning. It was also great to see so much support for the Guns there. I think at least a third of the 7000 crowd had a Cowboys shirt/jersey/cap/flag there.

The Cowboys managed to get the broadcast in Sydney and hopefully were inspired by the fantastic defence of the Guns. Burleigh were still in the game until well into the 2nd half and as Strickland said at the presentation, the scoreline didn't reflect the game.

It was sad to see Brenton Bowen & Michael Luck sitting on the sideline, not getting a game for the Cowboys and ineligible for the Guns. Hopefully the QRL will sort that situation out next year.

J Lo, Lee Mac & Mylesy had a great send off from the club.

It was good to catch up with Granty, Nana Fay, Tony P, GCCK & many others that travelled down. Fingers crossed, most of us will be in Sydney next week after the Cowboys beat the Storm tonight. See you all then.

For anyone reading in Townsville at the moment, the Guns arrive back at around half time in the Cowboys game.

What a great feat for our club. The Guns have done us all proud!

Now here's hoping that we become the first club in NRL history to win all it's reserve grade titles and the big one!
